I love the smell of vanilla and chocolate, so bringing these two together in one mouthful is just short of heavenly.
- 1 ¾ cups all purpose flour
- ¾ cups chopped pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ¾ cups butter
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tbsp. cold water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, pecans and chocolate chips.
In a large bowl, cream butter.
Add salt and icing sugar, beating ingredients until fluffy.
Add vanilla and water and mix well.
Stir in flour mixture and blend well.
Take small spoonful’s of dough and roll into small balls.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
Bake 10 – 15 minutes.
